Just want to shout out Conway Twitty for this brilliance, not just because it’s a song about how horned up he is & just wants to cut the small talk and get to Pound Town…but because it’s the first song I’ve heard with key changes DOWN at the end, not up… laying it DOWN. Country is high art

Unironically they should buy up the domains for about 60 defunct local newspapers in swing states. Hire two reporters to write almost exclusively about highschool sports and new restaurants opening with every 10th article about how the local GOP is screwing over people.
