Ahead of National #GetOutside Day this Sun, we discuss the barriers that can make it hard for Black, Asian and mixed heritage communities to enjoy the outdoors, and the groups helping more people feel that they belong in nature.

Can we solve America's greatest problems by actually talking to — instead of yelling at — each other?

That's one of the central questions of our new film THE WORK IN PROGRESS, in theaters now.

🚨 BREAKING: TAX THE RICH FLAGS FLYING IN FARAGE'S CONSTITUENCY

🇬🇧 Today we're hoisting our reimagined version of the national flag: one that stands for solidarity, community and welcome. And we're taking down the ones used to spread fear.

The Unity Flag is about reclaiming our national symbols from hate & restoring them as symbols of belonging, hope & shared identity.

Its colours represent the many communities, cultures & histories that make up modern Britain. Not as separate groups, but as a shared expression of unity in diversity.

This weekend there’s a major unity march in London bringing people together against racism and division.

We’re supporting the message behind it with the Unity Flag 🫶🏼

If you’re going, stand proud.
If you’re not, share the message.

Reclaim the flag for everyone.

An image featuring a white text box overlaid on a photo of an urban street scene. The text box displays a social media post from "Together Alliance (@UKTogetherAll)" which reads: "28 March will be a turning point in history. But to make that happen, we need to show up in big numbers. We have to show that the majority rejects far-right values. Join us: 28 March, Park Lane, 12pm." The background shows a concrete wall under a bridge or overpass, covered in graffiti and a row of black and white posters that mirror the message in the text box. The posters say "AGAINST THE FAR RIGHT" and include the date, time, and location: "28 MARCH 12PM PARK LANE, LONDON." A traffic cone is visible in the lower-left corner.

This Saturday, I’m joining the @togetheralliance.bsky.social march for unity against the far right.

People are really struggling. But instead of offering real alternatives to our rigged economy, the far-right are scapegoating migrants and minorities.

Join us. Let’s show hope will win over hate!

A 3x3 grid of nine individual portraits. Each person is standing in front of a wood-paneled wall, holding a campaign poster. The posters feature various slogans including: "MARCH FOR LOVE. FOR UNITY. FOR HOPE. TOGETHER" "LOVE IS BACK" "MARCH TOGETHER AGAINST THE FAR RIGHT" One man in the bottom center is pictured with a golden retriever wearing a high-visibility harness. Another 3x3 grid featuring nine different individuals holding similar campaign posters. Most are wearing professional attire such as suits or blazers. The posters repeat the themes of "MARCH TOGETHER" and "HOPE IS BACK." All photos are taken indoors against a consistent wood-panel background or a neutral wall. A final grid containing four photos. The top-left photo shows two men standing together, each holding a "MARCH FOR LOVE" poster. The other three photos are individual portraits of men holding posters with the slogans "MARCH TOGETHER AGAINST THE FAR RIGHT", "LOVE IS BACK", and "MARCH FOR LOVE." A black graphic with the "TOGETHER" logo at the top. Bold white text in the center reads: "ASK YOUR MP TO SIGN". Below this, the words "TOGETHER ALLIANCE" are highlighted in a green bar, and "EARLY DAY MOTION" is highlighted in a pink bar. At the bottom, a shortened URL reads: bit.ly/together-writetomp.
