It’s all psychological games. I’m also middle aged and remember how the conservative Regan years in the 80s led us directly into the waif thin 90s where nothing, as a woman, was worth more than being thin. Or so we were told.

The constant push for class warfare in the US by the rich is a strategy to keep everyone in place and everyone below them plays along. It’s gross.

You seen it in the treatment of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez by a significant amount of the population. How dare she go into politics as a former bartender/heavy implication that makes her inept while also knocking her for no longer being blue collar.

Admonishing the poor for being poor yet making sure there is little to no way to get out of poverty. Pushing women to look and dress for the male gaze while also calling them “sluts” and blaming them if they are assaulted “well, what were you wearing?”
