As a voice actor, Blaustein was one of the original voice actors on Pokémon. Rogers helped her get her first role on the show, where she initially only played characters of the day, but after EP032, she took over Nathan Price's role as Meowth. She had commented that she tried to view the Japanese version of the series, and one of her goals was to emulate the scream that Inuko Inuyama gives Meowth. She remained with the series until the end of the eighth season, when Pokémon USA and TAJ Productions took over the dubbing and distribution of the series. Most of her roles were taken over by Bill Rogers and Billy Beach, who took over Meowth's role. While working on the original series, Blaustein was inspired by the episode Go West Young Meowth to formally come out as a transgender woman. A friend wrote in her eulogy that she connected with Meowth as "a human trapped in a Pokémon's body". I am officially homeless. Right now it's me, my partner Harmony, and my 3 month year old child Raymira. It is currently very cold in Wisconsin. It is lethally cold in fact. Right now my brother and mother are able to spot me for a weeks worth of hotel stays. A local charity was able to give me 3 days in a hotel and two nights. We just showed up and as a result we are currently it a large gap for the resources that are available here and our residency status... Though even despite this it is still more than what was offered in North Carolina. We are going to need money for hotel rooms until my partner Harmony can find work. We're also going to need money for applications for housing we're going to need money for gas still need money for my phone. We need a lot of help. We aren't idle people, we move and work hard. But we can't help ourselves unless we get help getting the things we need to be able to work. We can't 'pull ourselves up by our bootstraps' if we can't even afford the boots. I will be honest. There is not a lot for us out here because we just got here, we might have to wait a couple of months before we get housing assistance. But we have a baby, and the streets are no place for a baby.

The worst possible thing is happening. We're getting evicted and we only have 48 hours. I need urgently and emergently $60 in order to cover a phone for this month. I don't have a cell phone service. If I don't get this, I will go dark for the foreseeable future. I don't know if I'll be able to survive without access to internet which has critical safety information and access to resources. I'll be on the road trying to go from North Carolina to Wisconsin. I can't afford to be traveling without cell phone service. I also need a cell phone. If I get into an accident, I need to be able to call for help. You guys are my only hope for this. I don't have any other avenues and I don't have anyone else to ask for help. You reading this, the one who could probably buy coffee tomorrow, could probably forego a cup of coffee in order to help a trans girl not die, right?

Emergency: Okay, so here's the situation: We can't afford our bills and we can't afford rent. We haven't gotten any donations regarding either. We're going to lose the house and we're going to go homeless. We're going to lose the electricity and the heat in our house first. I've been asking for a lot of different kinds of things in donations because I've been trying to see what can stick for people to actually put up and pay up and help me out: I'm disabled and I have a partner and I have a three month old baby to take care of. We have no support network and we have exhausted all social services available to us. I know people are exhausted and struggling on their own, but I can't really believe that people would want to believe and live in a world where they believe that they have to watch a trans person go homeless with their baby. Here's what I need, if nothing else: I need $45 more dollars per month in order to be able to pay for a phone bill. This would be able to have me have internet on my phone so that way while I'm on the streets with the baby at least I have access to critical resources. I can still access my account and I can still access my social media. I can still access my phone and call out and receive calls and I can still text. All of that requires $45 more per month. If I don't get that, then, well... I don't really want to talk about it out loud. The only thing I have is this channel to ask for help. If there was another way, I would be doing that instead.

A is still moving out, but things have been disrupted for her, her car died and the place she was supposed to move in to cancelled her application last minute, so she will be here till the end of the month while she figures things out and will pay for this month's rent. However the start date for my new job has ALSO been pushed to the end of the month. So I'm basically right back where I started but postponed and with more time. I'm still raising money, but it will be for October's rent. I'll have something to announce regarding commissions I'll be offering by the end of this week. If you have the means please consider donating. I still have to raise $2000, but I have till Halloween which seems like a long time from now but it really isn't.

So it turns out that my roommate (A) who was supporting us has decided to move out and leave us with no support 2 weeks from now. We have no income and won't be able to make rent. I need $2000 as soon as possible. I'm incredibly disappointed in who has now become my former girlfriend, for abandoning is in our time of need and leaving behind a disabled chronically Ill native trans person and a pregnant person who still needed their help. I have been recovering from being homeless and displaced in 2023, I was under the assumption I could trust A with helping us until we got back on our feet, but it has become incredibly clear to me that they would rather have their own fears guide their thinking than their morals and values. I have been applying for jobs since MAY and haven't found anything. I won't be able to cover ANYTHING even if I got hired TODAY for another month because of how job compensation works. I'm DESPERATE to not go homeless AGAIN, ESPECIALLY considering we have a baby due in November! If you have the means, please please help us.

Hajo Painting (2014)
