Did a lot of stuff I can't post last month, so I treated myself with a Halfling man-at-arms for #hobbitday

A Hobbit or Halfling or whatever you wanna call them decked out in Late Medieval armor. He is wielding a Lochaber axe, which is a two hander with a broad crescent blade emblazoned with a lion and a hook to bring down taller enemies (which is to say all of them). He is also wearing a rondel dagger and a hurlbat on his belt; a hurlbat is a small, all-metal throwing axe, and his reads "Vangst!" on it which means "Catch!" in Dutch. His armor is made up of a coat of plate with a green and white textile cover with a red and gold plaque belt, while his limbs are fully armored with maille patches filling in the articulations. His sabatons (on his feet) are decorated with very pointy golden caps that curl up like some fashionable shoes did back then. His helmet is a kettle hat adorned with gilded rivets and a large golden rooster, with big green rooster feathers making up its tail. The rest of his face and neck under his nose are covered in two-tone gilded maille.
