Its almost like anti-porn laws are never actually about porn. 🤔
Buried in Michigan's antiporn bill is a provision to effectively outlaw "circumvention tools," such as VPNs.

Mark my words: legislators will increasingly leverage porn panic to restrict or ban VPNs, and to limit internet privacy far beyond adult sites.
Experts raise privacy concerns over Michigan bill targeting pornography and VPNs
Rep. Josh Schriver, the bill’s sponsor, says the law is designed to target only producers and distributors of pornography, not everyday internet users.

PORN IS ART, PORN IS GOOD, PEOPLE MAKING PORN IS A SIGN OF A HEALTHY SOCIETY
There has been a noticeable reticence in left and liberal circles to voice full-throated support for pornography, even as it's become increasingly clear what the open end goals of the censorship movement are

It’s Long Covid Awareness Month and a good time to remind everyone that Covid is not over.

It’s still here, still disabling and still killing.

All it takes is one infection to change your life forever.

You never know when you could be disabled.

Wear a mask. Clean the air.

Covid was one of the reasons I left the US.I couldn’t understand why people didn’t just wear a mask and care ? Covid confirmed that the US is a society that is built on individualisms and not collectivism . Even the healthcare policies show that the government doesn’t care about its citizens .

The pandemic also reignited or catalyzed a lot of horrific eugenicist rhetoric—"It's not that bad, because it will only harm people who are already immunocompromised, or the elderly. And some people should be willing to make the sacrifice for the benefit of the rest of us."

It’s been six years since Covid was declared a global pandemic.

Most people moved on years ago.

Decided to go “back to normal” whether it was safe or not.

They left people like me by the wayside.

They abandoned the vulnerable.

They embraced the comfortable lie.

I read the “Save America Act,” so you don’t have to. Most of the media apparently *hasn’t* read it because, if they had, they would be sounding the alarm about the provision in Point 1, below, which almost none of them have even mentioned. I hope this summary helps raise awareness. 1/

In case you're wondering how slow justice moves: after the Trump administration investigated my podcast and removed me from my job at the VA in 2019, I filed a complaint.

We still don't have a trial date set. We're waiting on a summary judgment ruling after a hearing last August.
