On Saturday I decided to try experimenting with a 90s esc color bleed in Blender's compositer. I was showing it off to my friend today and I don't know why, but there's just some odd charm to it. The picture just feels.. older? More grainy?

Technically Kai is actually a OC. He's a more.. idealized version of me. But we're not one. Kai is me, but I am not Kai. He has his own story. I may never end up sharing it despite wanting to.

Technically Kai is actually a OC. He's a more.. idealized version of me. But we're not one. Kai is me, but I am not Kai. He has his own story. I may never end up sharing it despite wanting to.

It's really interesting how textures can warp our perception of a model. The concrete looks like it's sticking out a little above the bricks but it's actually a flat surface.

I had the idea recently to try sculpting a simple form blockout then, model the details over it. Honestly. I think it came out pretty well. Literally took me like 2-3 hrs to model this head. It is pretty low poly though.
