I sometimes make kinda ok-ish stuff for the FFXI community. It typically explodes in some manner.
I've made:

The Vana'diel Network
vanadiel.network
Bluesky's #ffxi community is awesome, and I have met so many people because of it. I thought I'd give back to it, by letting you all rep Vana'diel in your handle, so I made vanadiel.network. This will allow you to pick a handle of your choice, which will show up as .vanadiel.network.
Today I turned the emoticons used in PlayOnline chat rooms into SVG. Was this a good use of my time? Probably not, but hey it's done now. (names are my own, they have no names in PlayOnline of any value)

I just found this looking at PlayOnline's files... Interesting (and terrifying to think about what could have been...)

This is gonna be a long thread, sorry in advance. I went and took some pictures of Vana'diel today, originally wanted to do every zone, then I got bored and just started doing the ones I wanted to take pictures of. These are for Provenance but I thought I'd share them here too!

Guys. I need some spoiler-free trivia about FFXI. It can be lore, development history, gameplay, anything, as long as it's interesting. I've been here so damn long I don't know what's considered trivia and what is considered "i thought everyone knew that"

Provenance's closed beta is going well! We've actually had significantly less issues than I was anticipating, honestly.
If we're mutuals and we know each other, feel free to drop me a poke if you're interested in helping test, I can get you an invite to the discord!
