When Murray appears in a game for his MLB debut, he will become just the 10th player born in the Bahamas to reach the majors and the 2nd with the Cubs (André Rodgers, 1961-64).
Craig Counsell confirmed the Cubs will be adding infielder BJ Murray Jr. to the big-league roster tomorrow as the additional position player they get with rosters expanding. Cubs will also get another pitcher too.
Murray is with the team today to get acclimated. Currently taking BP on the field.
