What if there were vegan-only towns, or schools, or banks, or “churches,” or political parties, unions, fraternities, etc.? Might building such a community help convert others? We need more vegans! 😀

All of those varied efforts indeed are important but wondering if something new also is needed now that we’re closer to it being too late to avoid disaster.

Maybe vegans need a new strategy for achieving mass conversion to veganism. As a start, perhaps more regular in person meetings of vegans to plan local efforts? Akin to a church and its social activism? Other suggestions?

Asked a couple at VegFest if they were vegan. They said yes and excused themselves as he was giving talk in 10 minutes. She explained he was Gene Bauer, founder of Farm Sanctuary. So, basically, I asked Pope if he were Catholic.
