I'm hanging with my brothers right now. One of them is playing Euro Truck Simulator while the other one is playing Mario Kart. It's giga trippy to hear text-to-speech navigator say "turn left" accompanied with the power-up roulette sound effect from Mario Kart.

This is a great example why some dumbo like me should probably learn how this shit actually works instead of honing on some feature you are going to scrap on a week. I checked the scan times again and was so confused of the sudden increase in the scan time.

I am losing my mind.
I have been working on a certain system that validates and caches my data in advance.
43 days later realized that I did not even check how long it takes to scan and validate that data. It takes 0.8 - 1.5ms...

I think it's a bit weird the remakes of 1, 2 and 3 are counted as their own separate numbered entries since I don't think I've ever seen any other game series do that, but it's even weirder how upset people get about the remakes being counted as their own entries.
