For anyone still reading my yapping, no I'm not talking about mascot horror, though that's a whole separate subject I could go on about my feelings on.

If you want to really sell me the "this happy world is messed up secretly" you cannot make that world paper thin.

One factor, in my opinion, that really determines if the execution will turn out good is actually trying really hard to make the 'wholesome' aspect charming and earnest.

If it's insincere and low effort, I can't stand it.
