Russia's FM Lavrov has today said "There is no material benefit for Russia from dialogue with the United States yet, and none is expected."

So once again, Putin pretends to be interested in peace then shuts it down.

I admire you for your seeking more knowledge in these varied & interesting ways, inspite of everything going on around you. The way you do this, inspires me to unearth more too. Today I took my son to a small but lovely museum. These flowers were there. Now yours to enjoy too. 🥰

Catching up with the news, I am grateful reading you here just now. Good to read about the water. 🙏Your mornings should not be like this & international organizations have to find a way to reset the implementation of international law; without it, countries will find themselves in a devastating 1/

I have a similar feeling about our Independence Day, vs. the authentic and heartfelt celebration of 🇺🇦 Independence Day. Thank you for sharing these lovely pictures, Erich - a nice tribute for everyone who came out to celebrate or support. 💙💛

Very special, and colourful, this art by Leschenko. I particularly like the boy trying to reach for the fruit bowl. There's a lot of details in both paintings though. Thank you for sharing! 👍💙💛

Thank you, Carol. Your encouragement truly means a lot, thank you 🫂. 📸 was taken at the Ghent botanical garden. The leaves of these waterlelies can carry babies. In recent years they've held photo shoots w/ babies there. (They still use a little stool under the leaves to be on the safe side!) 🤗

I'm glad you stopped in your tracks to film this particular sign of strength & determination. The symbolism of Ukraine is not lost on me. That is what makes it so moving. Thank you for sharing this particular beauty, Yaroslava. No one can take away the will to live. No one.🫂💙💛

Sending you warm hugs, as these vicious attacks go on, Yaroslava. You brought lovely viburnum to our feeds, thank you. I hope the writing goes smoothly. Mine is waiting to be resumed, but ideas are starting to brew in my head. It will be a follow up to young Robert's WWII story.

Truly deplorable, these attacks. Wishing you a calm passage at exhibition and back home later. Sun coming out after a long grey start today. Sending you some colours which streamed in from a church window from earlier this year. 🫂💙💛

Oh, that's lovely! These were in France but locally we also have small book swap cupboards in people's front yards or next to their driveway etc. It is always nice to come across them! 👍🤗
