Launched Age of Chivalry (an old HL2 mod I used to play all the time) and it's hard to overstate how unbelievably dumb/broken the bots are in this game 😂

Just finished Scott Pilgrim EX and really liked it ! 🔥 The beat em up gameplay is fun, graphics are adorable and there's old-school gaming references all over the place. Final boss is a bit underwhelming but that's no big deal. Overall, a pretty solid game.

Still wild to me they made a Double Dragon × Nekketsu (River City) Super Dodgeball remake with different characters and stages… only to make it a pre-order bonus.

Not sure why Steam game tolerates all these obviously fake games selling for outrageous prices. 🤨 I doubt anyone is dumb enough to fork 250$ for a cheap UE5 asset flip (17,159$ if you count the DLC's) but shit like this clearly shouldn't be allowed.

Today I learned that around 2004, when internet was slow and download caps were brutal, you could order a $10 CD from FileFront filled with your own selection of game mods.
Had no idea that was even a thing.

With everyone talking about the new Fable game, I've got somehow reminded of the 1997 game with the same name that has nothing to do with the series but still was pretty fun.

Got randomly reminded of Imperator today, a MMO project they hyped back in 2005 where you would play as warhammer-styled roman cybersoldier (got quietly cancelled a few years after it's announcement).
Honestly, I think the concept had potential, could've been a cool game.

If you're a fan of the original Outrun, please try Canonball (link in comments) which is a free port of the original game with a bunch of enhancements such as widescreen, high resolution mode and various other things. 😁 Probably the closest to a proper remaster we'll ever get.

Watched City Hunter: .357 Magnum (1989) tonight and had a great time ! The characters are fun, animation well made, actions scenes entertaining and I really liked the jazzy/pop soundtrack. If you're a fan of random OVA's, check it out !

Played the demo for REVEREND – Surf ’n Sin yesterday. Good tropical theme and atmosphere, very simple gameplay, repetitive music and weird level design but that's a neat start, kinda reminded me of old custom Duke3D maps
