Thanks for your communication on this, and for listening to the community. There were no great options here, but I think this one was best for long term health and consistency. In every eternal format, the strongest cards were usually mistakes. Who knows how we look back on this in five years?

What is the justification for saying that the rarity of some randomized products (like precons) count, but other randomized products (SLD) don't? "We don't mean for it to impact Pauper this time around" seems a very flimsy reason from 10,000 feet.
