Somehow managed to finish another one of these, and yeah, I went back to my favorite pose because... it's my favorite. Tried some new things with the lines to show detail. Might redo the background at some point but I didn't want to sit on it forever so.. enjoy?

One of the major problems with social media for people like me is it's simultaneously the only outlet I have for socialization and an incredible way to make clear that my ideas and perspectives are worthless.

I've said it before, but I really wish there were a good way to present a large amount of text with images. I want to say so much about what I'm trying to do with my art, but if I don't have the space I don't see a reason to try. Still, hope you enjoy.

Was watching 2001: A Space Odyssey last night and my PS4 Pro fried itself during the "Beyond the Infinite" chapter. Kind of funny, considering what's happening in that part, but uh.. I liked that fucking thing. The best thing about living in poverty is you can't replace anything that breaks. Sigh.

I know the way I draw has its own strengths and weaknesses, but if I were forced to go through a traditional art education I never would have been able to draw anything at all. I'm trying to stay confident but there's so much out there that seems to be telling me I'm just a phony. It sucks.

So this would be my seventieth drawing of my own footpaws and sure, it's extremely similar to previous poses but I just can't help it. I'm always trying to find new ways to add better detail so hopefully that helps keep it from being too repetitive ._.

Still have this irrational belief that studying footpaws and trying to recreate them in lineart is good for me. Can't help it at this point anyway.

I tried to show additional dimensionality and detail with overall thicker lines. Hope it looks good =3

Sort of a companion piece to the last one I finished, with a more painterly background this time. This was finished across a number of days and I may have lost some of my focus but as always, I hope it can be enjoyed anyway :)

The pose is fairly neutral, with my toes neatly tucked together, and the angle lets us appreciate the thickness of the padding towards the outside as well as the depth of the arch on the inside.

Managed to finish detailing this one all the way through. Went a bit bonkers with the background but, as with the lineart, it's meant to represent my feelings and why I do this at all. Not that I'm always so sure about that, heh. Lotta weird feelings :x

This is based off a digital painting (based on myself) given to me as a gift many years ago. I've wondered over time how my footpaws would look with strong lines, emphasis on my favorite details, and a few anatomical tweaks, so I redrew them.
