I have sort of cooled on buying Transformers - a decade ago, I was a "drive across half the state to pick up a rare box set from one of the only surviving TRUs" sorta fan, but I am kinda burnt out and am waiting for them to show me something new and interesting again.

I probably understand the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise more than most people, I've seen everything and played almost everything and done whole TED Talk style talks at conventions about it (that was before Rebuild, though).

I have been playing Dragon Quest Treasures and it's a fun little game. You're playing as a pair of little kids that are running their own g̶a̶n̶g̶ "treasure hunting crew" populated with DQ monsters.

I know these are supposed to be extra-safe grips for things like excercise games for the Switch 2, but to me this just looks like Nintendo Switch-themed brass knuckles.

The best Doctor Who companions are the ones that do not want to be there at all. They aren't in love with the Doctor and fawning over his every word. They are snarky and talk back and are rude because they are kidnapping victims and that really brings a great energy to the usual dynamic.
