Got a photo of Berlioz playing with his favorite toy: a catnip toy that I got for our San Diego cat ranch when little Tabby was teething. It’s a pickle that says, “I’m kind of a big dill”. Adorable…though I really didn’t mean for Berlioz’s ears to get left out of the picture! I love his ears!

Red blood cell count: June 30, vs. today. Might need another blood transfusion. It dropped so much! Scary… But that explains this extreme tiredness that I can’t seem to get rid of.

Wow! I took a nap, and woke up to find that both my furbabies had come to join me…just like they did when we were in San Diego.. Awwww… ❤️🐾❤️🐾

The birthday cats…wherever they are. I do hope they’re okay. This is Cheddar and Tabby, who I was forced to leave behind when I brought Berlioz and O’Malley here. Cheddar and Tabby are 4 years old today, hopefully.

Berlioz is finally mingling with us! He even let me get his picture…not an action shot this time. Of course, he’s just as adorable as ever.. ❤️🐾❤️🐾

My O’Malley, looking so adorable! She loves curling up with me on the living room chair when we’re watching TV. Meanwhile, Berlioz is really starting to come out of his shell and mingle with us humans. My San Diego cats are learning to like Cleveland. I told them they would.❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾

Good news: Berlioz is finally starting to explore the condo, and he even plays (fights) with his sister O’Malley a little. Bad news: he’s still so skittish, he runs past us very quickly (thus this action shot), hoping we didn’t see him (though I usually do). He’s making progress, though!❤️🐾❤️🐾

To regain the trust of my two cats, I have decided to become one of them…even if it’s only during naps and at night. Will it work? Well, O’Malley trusts me, but Berlioz is still hiding under the family room couch, hoping I’ll think the couch is meowing.

After feeding the cats and cleaning their litter box, I heard something in the family room downstairs. Either Berlioz is hiding under the couch, or the couch has learned how to say “Meow” with Berlioz’s sweet adorable voice- ❤️🐾❤️🐾

Our second day in beautiful Auburn Township, Ohio. Berlioz & O’Malley are still mostly hiding, though they did finally eat their dinner last night, and Berlioz found a new hiding place somewhere (inside, of course). They’ll get used to their new home. I’m already used to it, and glad to be back!
