WHO & WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: ✅ Vietnamese Americans, 18 years or older ✅ Can share opinions about key issues that impact Vietnamese Americans ✅ Residents of Orange County, California WHAT ARE WE DOING? We are looking for people to join our monthly 90-minute discussion groups (Zoom and in-person options) for 3 months. Participants will be fairly compensated for their time. Your opinions on issues that affect Vietnamese Americans are important to us. Hi everyone, We hope you’re all doing well amidst everything that’s going on. It’s been over five years since the launch of Viet Fact Check, and we just want to thank you all for being with us every step of the way. Since launching in 2020, VFC has published over 350 articles on a wide array of topics happening inside and outside the US. We’ve hosted more than 60 community workshops throughout the US (and the UK!). And we’ve partnered with some incredible journalists and news outlets to build our collective knowledge and bridge generational/political/language gaps with nuance and care. We couldn’t have done any of this without your support and the hard work of our team. We strive to continue uplifting, educating, and learning from our community, and hope to keep having you along on this journey! If you have anything you would like us to do in 2026, be it article topic recommendations, requests for community workshops in your city, or something new, feel free to let us know.
