A developmental biologist's developmental biologist, Nobel prize winner
His work is the foundation of much of today's dev & stem cell bio.
An inspiration to many, including me. Always asking questions & wanting the answers

The way no one ever asks students for a letter of recommendation about their PIs… Maybe we need a ‘Yelp!’ for evaluating labs — or some other system that doesn’t put students at risk. Feedback only flows downstream; it’s asymmetrical and can be a career-changer. 🧵1/3 #academiccareer #academiclife
