they’re sometimes visited by other Pokémon seeking guidance or wanting to ask/pray to Arceus (there are churches but the trio is close to Arceus).They then give them a test to see if they have a pure heart/wisdom/will. if they succeed they’ll pass their prayer directly to Arceus
