The Muncie Walmart located on E 29th St. has generously donated $2,000 to support local artists through the Vore Arts Fund. This donation, provided through Walmart's Spark Good grant program, will go toward upcoming funding cycles of our loan program. We thank Walmart for the support!

Congratulations to Grace Longfellow for her project "Sky Pup" and Laney Mesaros for her project "canvases and paint" for being the winners of June's public vote! Both have been awarded $500 loans to help support the creation of a comic book series and collection of paintings and print projects.

After the public votes were tallied today, a $1,000 grant was awarded to Maya Doss to support the Maya Doss Art Print Club, a new subscription program for her art. This funding will help cover the up-front costs of creating art, packaging individual pieces, and shipping to subscribers.

We're happy to announce the awarding of $1,000 to support Pressing Matters, new a series of local workshops to children and adults about the art of Gelli printing, an accessible monoprinting technique that requires no press and produces vibrant, unique prints.

Congratulations to our May funding recipients! Braiden Robinson will be receiving a loan of $500 to help start a jewelry-making business, and another $500 will go to Jonathon Bennett to help cover the cost of recording guest vocals on his upcoming album, titled Righteous Gemstones 2.

The Ball Brothers Foundation has generously given the VAF a rapid grant to cover our operating expenses and funding cycles for the rest of 2025! Thanks to their support, we'll be accepting applications without interruption for the rest of the year and awarding loans every odd-numbered month!

The Vore Arts Fund is accepting applications for funding between now and March 31st, 2025. Our next funding cycle will distribute funds to the winners in early to mid May, and applications can be submitted by creating an account on the Vore Arts Fund website and visiting voreartsfund.org/apply.

Fantastic news! Gordy Fine Art and Framing (gordyframing.com) is now offering a 25% discount to projects supported by the VAF! This and the discount provided by the Art Mart (artmartmuncie.net) are an amazing way to help support local businesses and to help the VAF's funding have even more impact.
