Its founding was considered a mighty show of power, as the witches of Hexmoot pooled their powers to transmute the very land. Faced with such a scale of magic, the invading armies of Jofferman, Sumeld, and the Cherrial empire were cowed into a ceasefire, thus -officially- ending the Settling Wars.
