Constitutional lawyer here. I don't think it would violate the Constitution for the VP/Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment, but the intended constitutional remedy for this behavior is impeachment & removal. The fact that that remedy is politically impossible is a scandal and a crisis.
If I were in Trump's Cabinet, I would spend Easter calling constitutional lawyers about the 25th Amendment.
This is completely, utterly unhinged. He's already killed thousands. He's going to kill thousands more.

DHS bought a warehouse in a city called Social Circle, GA, then refused to answer questions on how they'd use it.
So, the city cut off water and sewer services, put a lock on the water meter, and said that services will remain off “until ICE answers their questions."

I agree with all the slave ship & forced labor camp comparisons, but also, on a practical level, this is not how you build a detention center where you expect either violent inmates or long-term prisoners. The very floorplans betray the obvious lie; they are meant to warehouse harmless folks.
