Lilac seemingly notices despite his strong composure, he is still overly paranoid. She realizes that from how much he set traps in his lair, and even sometimes shows he still has distrust of her, despite her trying her best to let him know she's not out to get him, at least not anymore

Chase is drawn to her mainly because of his strong sense of Heylin remnants coming from her, as well as wanting to unlock her full potential from her powers to use for his advantage, and he knows her close connection to the moon, meaning she could have something to do with the Heylin eclipse

It's also the reason why she's weak under sunlight and avoids it at all costs, usually by carrying an umbrella with her. Exposure to sunlight will weaken her and she detransforms back into a normal rabbit. Her main strength comes from the moon's light

Heylin magic also contributes to how humans interact with her. She's invisible most of the time, which is why it's easier for her to mess with them. Only those from the Heylin side could see her, regular people might have to use the Shen Gong Wu to reveal her full form by reversing the invisiblity

This is also why she likes throwing pranks on humans, she only sees them as her playmates and nothing more. The Heylin magic in her also contributes to how she gives and recieves affection, it's usually to gain something in return, but sometimes her feelings are genuine, just hard to exactly tell
