Odie is delightfully uncomplicated and pure goodness. His only complaint about life is that he does not like going to the groomer (does not like the same process at home either.) But he survives each time and looks fabulous afterward! #DogsOfBluesky #havanese

Odie’s coat is like cotton candy…once it gets past a certain length, it matts constantly. We reached that point this weekend. Fortunately we had a grooming appointment today so he got a haircut. I think the groomer did a great job! Odie is just so much fun. #DogsOfBluesky #havanese #firstdog

Some positive news…Odie earned the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and the Urban CHC three weeks ago. Now we are participating in a therapy dog prep class, hoping to pass the therapy dog tests later this year…Odie is so good already with the residents at my mom’s nursing home. #havanese #DogsOfBluesky

Our cat Jubilee passed away in November at the too-young age of 12. A friend at work surprised me with a commissioned painting of Jubilee. She had given photos of Jubilee to the artist that she had gotten from my Facebook. This was a total surprise, and I was overwhelmed by the thoughtfulness.
