I pay taxes for schools despite not having kids because I live in a society. The retired people who don't want to pay property taxes are weird. They still use roads and other public services. But the US is a deeply individualistic society run by Republicans hyper-focused on exclusionary policies.

Saw Ken Russell’s director’s cut of The Devils in 4k at the theater today and now I have to go to bed at 8:30, my mind is overwhelmed . What a crazy, amazing film.
I first saw Lair of the White Worm when I was 15 and possibly not since then. Needs a rewatch this month.
