Happy to report that I'm in love with @thegildedpagelitloungetx. I only had time to be there for a couple of hours, but what a delight! Especially after a long drive, a dirty soda and a pastry were exactly what I needed.

Readers, bow down—it's THROWAWAY QUEEN'S publication bday! I can't believe this book is now 4 years old already. I love Queen Anjali's story so fiercely. She helped me have the courage to transition into my motherhood era. And she still helped me even if that role was never in the cards for me.

And I keep saying that this is the longest and shortest period of my life, because that's how it still feels. Today, we're diving into We'll Never Be Friends...And Other Girlhood Mishaps, the third book in the Emma Bishop series by Rebecca Garner. I'm so excited to dive in. Rating: 5 Stars Synopsis Everything in my brain goes fuzzy for half a second, but then fireworks shoot off, a crowd cheers, and a chorus starts singing before a tiny voice shouts from the back, Focus!
