Last night I dreamt I was with a group of people with superpowers. Mine were dormant.

A friend asked if I had felt any of my powers. She then started to describe my dream, which I had apparently pushed into the minds of everyone there.

(Not unusual for me to make myself be a telepath)

I decided to swap out a surge protector after I was sure it had been damaged. This led to me pulling out a container I had dumped things in for later, and made a big mess.

10 minutes before my work day starts. (I did get the mess mostly contained for me to clean up later.)

Does anyone remember during the pandemic that people taking about how washing your hands should last as long as the chorus to Jolene?

Anyways, my shower today was 1 1/2 "9 to 5"s.

I'm just going to keep measuring time in units of Dolly Parton songs.

A dog a couple streets over got loose and we watched him until we found his owners. That was Tuesday.

He showed up here today. Yes, he's at least part husky. No, nobody has picked him up yet even though we texted.

I wish we knew his address. I just know the street he's from.

Today in people from the UK are gross online... Stumbled on a live feed from the fox channel on NY (local news, not fox news itself). A building in Manhattan structural issues. Lots of British flags next to people asking if a plane hit that building too, and other 9/11 jokes.

If you think the fault of the red card reversal is only on Trump, the actual blame is FIFA. If you want to say that anyone is undermining the integrity of the sport, it's FIFA. And it always has been.

Nothing quite like being a text from what you think is a doctor's assistant, but it's actually just AI.

On a video taking about the California orchards affected by Martinellis not renewing contracts, a woman asked why the orchards were treating down trees and "couldn't let it just return to the wild"

I'm sorry, what??

Every single time I see a white person complain about Mexican food in LA, they went to a chain in West LA.

Go East of you want the real deal. Easy at a hole in the wall. Buy from the stand on the street.

To celebrate our grad, I made a strawberry tres leches cake. I added strawberry syrup to every single stage of the cake. Cake? The milks? The whipped cream? I adjusted the sugar for all of it, and the end result was still a little bit sweeter, but a big hit.

AI companies having IPOs is not a sign they're profitable. They're pushing the loss onto the public to let those private investors walk away without losing everything.

In short, do not invest in AI IPOs.

It's 2026 and I'm still tired of non Latine yt ppl's opinions about Encanto.

You don't get why Mirabel forgave her family? Cool. You missed a major party of the story, because you don't understand that kind of generational trauma.

I always come up with fake bands names based on things I've said. Today's fake band name is Disappointing Matcha, after the strawberry matches I treated myself too that was 100% too oxidized (it was dark green)

A Disney fan was complaining that the Muppets version of Rockin Rollercoaster is all wrong. That instead of Kelly Clarkson, they should have used a "Disney girl"

I pointed out the wider appeal with Kelly, and they already got a former "Disney girl" to relaunch the Muppet Show and it was perfect.

Sometimes, forgetting about gift cards is awesome. Work had gifted me stuff to a local garden center. I spent this year's, and couldn't find last year's gift card. We bought potting soil, some peppers... And realized we didn't get enough potting soil.

The number of people I've seen who think that the creators being paid by Chorus are the same thing as the ugc creators posting pro Tom Steyer content without disclosing it? Yikes.

One is a patronage type situation to let creators work. The other is a paid influencer gig.

I did not realize how live the Monterey Bay Aquarium Moon Jelly feed is. Their relaxing music was just interrupted by an announcement that the aquarium was closing soon. 😂

folx, I’ve been working on AI "ethics" for almost a decade now & hate to tell you there’s no such thing as "ethical AI"

the only "ethical principle" that works is regulating the shit out of the industry & to take back control of our autonomy, fundamental rights, freedoms & right to exist w/out AI

For the record, I hate this feature anyways. But it is deeply hilarious that we cannot opt out and they are this bad.
Tiktok's AI overviews are so useless and inaccurate.

A kitten being rescued from a wall "This video shows a mesmerizing, almost hypnotic animation of swirling, colorful patterns."

A woman asking about good romCom sequels "This video shows a person repeatedly striking their head with a hammer"

So. The Stars are out, but at least the Oilers are too.

And the Wild have to beat the Avs next. So good luck with that.

So we have a local election. D and I went to drop off our ballots at City Hall where we were greeted like royalty bc nobody turns out for local elections.

I brought Ronnie back later that day, and they were so happy to see me again!

Always, vote in your local elections.

There is nothing quite like discovering that one of the onions you needed for dinner is actually moldy. Ew.

Ok,we will do French onion soup another night.
