That was close. I was cooking in the kitchen and heard strange rustling noises coming from the freezer.

Having over a decade dealing with RCMP double speak, this is clearly not an apology. He only apologizes for “challenging the term ‘crisis’”. That is vastly different than actually stating the issue is a crisis which obviously he is still refusing to do.

When the officer draws his gun he is in front of the vehicle. However, if you look at his legs, he is no longer in front of the vehicle when he fires the first shot. Both shots were murder not self defence.

This is a good example of how the media uses loaded words to subconsciously manipulate your emotions. It would be unusual for a prisoner not to be handcuffed during a transfer, and who has ever heard of unarmed police in the US? But the obvious is used to persuade you that you should dislike him
