Never thought about it. For me, a character is a bit amorphous in my brain. I don’t get bogged down in the details of what they look like over much. A few key features is all I need to get started. It’s how they view the world and react to outside forces that defines a character for me

Sometimes I find interesting photos I store as reference, and I find browsing art galleries is an excellent source of inspiration. One of my characters is modeled after this painting. It left quite the impression on me.

Thanks! So many works in progress, but sticking to all things dark. Grim dark fantasy and also horror laced with a good dose of existential dread. You know. Keeping it light.
