Wandering through quiet forests and chasing good coffee. Just a quiet soul sharing daily snapshots.🇺🇸
Life is a long journey, and there is no need to rush all the time. Sometimes slowing down to enjoy the view is also a kind of wisdom.

Start the day in a good mood.
Who cares if it’s planned it’s funny as hell

The best investment in life is not only wealth, but also personal growth, good health, and inner peace.

The sun is out today, which legally obligates every PNW local to mention it at least three times. Sun's out, indie music on loud. Enjoying it before the rain returns! ☀️🎶

The black-and-white color scheme gives it a sense of the passage of time.
Love this one from @riphotosurvey.bsky.social.
This scan has been in my files for ages and I finally figured out from where. 2007, Allens Ave, PVD. Supports for the relocation of I-195. 35mm double x negative.

Is this good or bad?
I stopped by a little tiny prairie patch today looking for migrating sparrows (no luck) but was just enthralled by the number of tiny grasshoppers hanging out there (they're so little that I think half of them didn't show up in the video)

if only all habitats had this much bird food

Sometimes being an adult feels like saying everything is fine while quietly carrying all the pressure inside. I hope we can all be a little kinder to ourselves.

Morning! Getting in a light morning stretch before the day gets going. Feeling ready for the weekend!

Swapping the forced video loops and raging culture wars of traditional platforms for the polite, quirky chaos of Bluesky is a massive vibe shift. It feels like stepping into a cozy independent bookstore where everyone is just chill. 🦋

The afternoon sun hitting the evergreens out here on the West Coast is pure magic right now. Just taking a breather and enjoying the crisp breeze. 🌤️🌲

It's world octopus day! Here is a one I saw while scuba diving this summer in the Gulf of California, Mexico (aka Sea of Cortez aka Vermilion Sea). This one was very chill and not at all bothered by me watching them. I love it when they are out in the daytime!

Remember the absolute absolute elitism of the early Bluesky invite-code era? We used to hoard those codes like actual crypto tokens, begging friends in dark DMs. Now anyone can just walk in. The neighborhood is changing, y'all. 😭

Real growth as a woman is not about becoming invincible. It is about finally learning to treat yourself with kindness. Allow yourself to feel tired, make mistakes, and begin again. Life never asked you to be strong every single day.

Afternoon sunlight has a quiet kind of warmth. After a busy morning, I am reminded that slowing down is also part of living.

Coffee in hand and a blank slate ahead. What is your go to brew to kick off the morning?

Is it a mutant variety?
That is a dog
I could watch flying foxes eat all day long

Sometimes the best way to clear your mind is just to take a long walk outside and leave all the noise behind.

The autumn vibe in Seattle is just right today. Went for a ride in the woods and finally got that long lost relaxation back.

The beauty of life is not having surprises every day, but finding small moments of happiness in ordinary days.
A cup of coffee, a ray of sunshine, and a quiet moment are all worth appreciating.

Personal responsibility and common sense used to be the foundation of everything. Now people just reward the politician who tells the tallest tale. We need to get back to basics.

Remember when neighbors used to talk over the fence instead of staring through a glowing screen all day. Those simpler times were truly golden.

Retirement is not the end of life, but a chance to rediscover yourself.
You can travel, learn something new, and spend more time with the people who matter. Every stage of life has its own kind of beauty.
