i think it also helps a ton sometimes to hear from other artists. watching process videos from people with "messy" styles where they're loose and carefree helps me. as well as artists with an infectious enthusiasm for their art, like GinjaNinjaOwO on youtube

if im really struggling with art i try to take a step back from my chosen medium and do something else. make something terrible in a medium i dont post in, or a different creative field entirely, like writing.
or you can also mess around and do something entirely different in your medium. experiment

i get it, i think all artists, including myself, have been there. feeling like if what we draw isnt great then its a waste of time and we've failed.
i definitely feel it more the more i think of selling my art and i get put on projects. suddenly i NEED to be great but i dont feel i am.
