not picking one but i think the total societal meltdown we've experience re: covid would not have existed in the same way without the longterm 9/11 meltdown. curious what it would be like had they happened in reverse order.

Speaking as someone who’s a bit closer to seeing the direct impacts of the MAGA murder of USAID than some, I just don’t have a ton of patience for people who want to condemn USAID for what it was and who also don’t have opinions or solutions on dealing with the hideous fallout of its destruction.

You often have good takes, but this is why you'll never be truly taken seriously. A boy stamping his feet because not everybody wants to play with him, and more importantly expressly DOES NOT want to play with him, is juvenile. Why do other people's opinions weigh so heavily on you?

It's just sad that you get so much positive attention and STILL it isn't enough for you. Anybody just wanting to politely not interact with you through normal means is somehow unfathomable? You have a compulsive need to be liked to the point wanting special features and that's a bummer way to live.

I think the bigger issue is why are you so fixated on what other people think of you? Why do you care so much about talking to somebody who clearly doesn't want to talk to you? You have only so many minutes in your life and so many of them are spent posting through it about people not liking you.

Oh, maybe I misread it. I thought it was poking fun at establishment Dems, who have been far more concerned with Platner's "progressive" politics than any of the shit about him and also don't generally care about rape. But, I agree it's not a good joke, and sadly Babylon Bee is smoking them.
