Corporate America’s playbook:

1) Exploit workers to maximize profits
2) Use profits to buy Congress
3) Use Congress to pass union-busting laws
4) Use union-busting laws to further exploit workers
5) Rinse and repeat

How we break this cycle? Build back a powerful labor movement.

Casual reminder that the myth of “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps” is a cruel hoax designed to convince poor people from all walks of life that the injustices they face are a result of their own actions, rather than an oppressive system rigged against them.

This is the best summary of where we are and how we got here that I have seen written.

This entire 3-part series is good.
It is important to understand that Trump is not the cause of the enshittification of America. He is a consequence. Unless the system is fundamentally changed, the enshittification will continue even after Trump is long gone. https://robertreich.substack.com/p/the-enshittification-of-everything-c94

This!
Dem's always get freaked out by the progressives/Democratic socialists. They really do suck at reading the room. Americans are sick of the corruption and ineffectiveness, that's why Mamdani and other progressives are winning.

He was also an avowed Socialist.
"The separation of races is not a disease of colored people but a disease of white people. I do not intend to be quiet about it." Einstein was labeled “radical” & “left-wing” & he was under FBI surveillance for his anti-racist political views. He famously gave a lecture at Lincoln University.⏬

Michigan Democrats chose Abdul El-Sayed because he’s a fighter willing to stand up to the tyrant in the Oval Office.

Corporate Democrats like Chuck Schumer aren't up to the task because they won’t bite the corporate hands that feed them.

The Democratic establishment’s hysteria over the Democratic Socialists of America’s organizing methods has it exactly backward: the Democratic Party has almost no ability to democratically organize voters, while DSA is reviving grassroots campaigning.

More of this, please.
A slate of union-backed working-class Democratic candidates is running on an economic-populist platform in swing districts.

If the Blue Collar Brigade proves successful, their strategy could set a precedent for winning working-class votes.

Is everyone aware of the General Motors streetcar conspiracy?

In the mid-20th century, auto and oil interests bought up electric streetcar systems across the US and systematically replaced them with bus routes and paved roads, funneling commuters toward private cars.

I was a Democratic Socialist way before it was cool. I got crucified for it. Now all the big accounts are starting to bandwagon. Just remember that they were wrong for decades and got us into this mess. They have no vision and no wisdom. They are intellectual parasites.

It is time to reorder our priorities. Not against the economy—but for an economy that protects life. For true prosperity is not found in our bank accounts, but in the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the ecosystems that sustain us. What if we began to consciously strengthen precisely that? 🌱
