Full transparency is welcomed. I didnt think an explanation was really necessary, but probably a good idea as people can't seem to get past the idea that gamerscore does not necessarily quantify the gaming ability of someone. Everybody's relationship with gaming is different. Time to move on, people

@matpiscatella.bsky.social hey Mat! Any perspective(vague or otherwise) on the sales pickup Helldivers 2 has seen since the Xbox launch? Seems to have been a pretty big increase on steam in players and sales and most of my friends on My Xbox are playing it. Looks as though PS5 players also went up

When Xbox announced their Showcase for 2025, they also clarified there would be none of the usual 'Fanfest' style activities. Microsoft normally host a rather lavish 'Xbox Games Showcase Watch Party' with a hall hired out so that Fanfest attendees – along with the media – can enjoy the show on the big screen. This time, it's being taken care of by the community itself, who are hosting their own Xbox Community Showcase Watch Party. 2024's Xbox Showcase Watch Party While it was confirmed fairly swiftly that this isn't happening this year, the Xbox Community were not happy.

As an Xbox fan, I'm more excited for the future of Xbox than I have ever been. I can see the vision. But more importantly I want to play the games. The road map they have will ensure many more years of games coming. Games First! I'll be playing on Xbox for many years to come.

I'm so tired of the discourse around videogame exclusives. You want to fix the industry? All consoles and PC's meet a min spec & devs only have to make one version of the game that plays on everything. Costs go down & the game is available to anyone that wants it. Sales go up & more games get made.
