What an inspiring story! Unfortunately progress to improve living conditions for remote indigenous communities has been very slow and difficult. Always promises and no actions!
I have met many leaders, activists and artists but none of them shook my world like Shannen Koostachin. All she wanted was to go to a real school but the government of Canada refused.
Her fight inspired a generation.
