I'm going to put these on pieces of paper in a cup next to me when I'm knitting/crocheting/counting so I don't have to speak to people/my family, they can take a random answer. Thanks @gregjenner.bsky.social
I’m busy this afternoon and can’t chat, so here are my stock replies in advance:

“Haha”
“Yes, I agree”
“No, I disagree”
“That’s classic… *insert name*!”
“I’ve not seen it yet, but I hear it’s good”
“Sadly that’s an urban myth”
“Friday”
“No, sharks can’t be washed at 40 degrees, use a wool cycle”

When something looks too good to be true.....

You can't move on the internet these days without bumping into Ai generated content. While some of it can be amusing, some is set out to frustrate you and separate you from your money (and possibly your identity)

POV: When you are working at home, making some lovely knitted bunting, and your blocking mats are at your studio.

What is your best "whatever I have to hand" hack for your making?

Quincey also found a use for the box 😻

Still loving this super simple Picot Scarf pattern. This is the second one I'm making. This one has started with a provisional cast on so it will be trapezium shaped not a triangle. I'm currently trying to work out when to stop and cast off, total yarn chicken. I will write up the pattern, promise!

STOP SCROLLING!!!

Sometimes I forget to breathe. Sounds stupid, right? But
something so automatic, can get hooked up. Taking some time to intentionally breath can really settle me.

Take a moment to breathe with me...

When I need to get out of my head, I count. Beathe, knit, dance, blessings, I count. My brain likes to have 15 tabs open and there is usually a soundtrack, but sometimes I need to quiet it all down.

How do you include counting in your day to support your wellbeing?

Been leveling up my crochet skills lately. I’ve known about Tunisian crochet for ages, but never tried it—until now.

Here’s my first attempt: a cowl sampling 2 stitches (simple + knit) in 2 colours. Pattern is my own. Yarn: @stylecraftUK DK weight.

Happy Easter to all who celebrate 🥳

As you read this, think of me, hiding eggs in the garden for my very grown up children (and husband) to find. It's one of those family traditions that refuses to lay down, I think I'm going to be doing this forever.

Wishing you a peaceful joyous weekend

Today is world Autism Awareness day. So, Hi!, to all the lovely people out there on that particular spectrum. With your quirks and your headphones and your flapping and your stimming and your pebbling and your info-dumping at 11pm.
I see you, I value you. I learn so much from you. 💜💜💜

I don't know if this is good news or bad, but the cats have decided that they like each other enough to sleep & chill touching on the sofa, and are starting to roam territory together outside. What happens when they gang up on me for snax?????

When you absolutely, positively HAVE to be using Black Yarn!!!!!! I know, mission impossible. I am covering headphone earpads.

Tip 1: put a white sheet / cardigan on your lap for better contrast

Tip 2: Good LIGHTING is your friend

Tip 3: Magnify if you can

Wish me luck, I'm freestyling it.
