How would linguist be able to decipher a child’s writing from a forgotten language? Since kids often spell things like how they sound, how much would we have to know of the language before an elementary school students writing could be understood?

I wonder how the stars look to a mantis shrimp. Out where there is no light pollution just a shrimp viewing the stars, shades of blues and purples unnatural to me, not a part of our world only the eyes of a shrimp could perceive

Crazy how much the Industrial Revolution lead to so much more discoveries about fire and allowed the government to update fire codes so much more! I wonder what architectural and engineered designs and concerns are thought of with new technology and even things like spacecrafts to keep others safe
