It’s true, gangrene is the sort of smell that sticks in your nose for ages. So does catastrophic bleeding into the gut which is expelled forcefully from the back end. Both smells you never forget.

There’s a clear difference. Having a baby is a shared experience. Being pregnant is a biological condition experienced by an individual.
