Shout-out to the handiest of handhelds. Found my GameBoy Micro in a drawer today. Can't remember when it was last turned on, but it still has a charge. I think the battery in my Steam Deck is larger than the whole thing.

My USB drive full of video game music is now blocked on my work laptop. I have to recreate everything on Spotify. I feel dirty.

Been working on completing all the Halo: MCC campaigns on Heroic. CE is done. I think I'll have an easier time with 2 & 3 without having to manage health packs. 2 down and 4 to go. I did ODST a few years ago. I may do it again for Par Scores. It's my favorite.

My brother and I played a ton of WWE Raw on SNES. I'd love to play it with a modern roster.

Wife found a LOTR sleepy time Spotify playlist last night. She spent 30 minutes quizzing me on what movie each song was from.... While I was trying to sleep. I shot fully awake when I realized the playlist transitioned into songs from the Elder Scrolls. We're going back to generic sleep tunes.

Decided to randomly socially engage with someone I saw reading the first book of the Stormlight Archive. An hour later they have convinced me to thoroughly read the Silmarillion and I convinced them to read Mistborn Era 1. I need a nap.

Played 3 games at once the other night. Played hide n seek in Roblox with my son while managing my Luma Island farm with my wife.... And also clicked some cookies. No one realized I was multitasking.

Got everything assembled and the joystick died. Designs were spray painted using vinyl stickers as masks. Kiosk was left over acrylic and I used wax paper as a light diffuser. It's far from perfect, but I'm happy with it. Hoping to make an SNES and N64 themed cabinet in the future.

Arcade control panel came out ok. Main cabinet needs a few more clear coats and I can install the t-molding and electronics.

Masked off before the last coat of paint. Spacing and alignment is a little off, but I'm happy with it.

I've been grinding through Borderlands 3 in an attempt to 90% achievement it. Currently at 46%. It has been just 'ok'. I struggle finding gear that fits my play style.

Finished The Empire of Silence, the first book of the Sun Eater series, this morning. Really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the rest of series.

Tiny arcade has made it further than my last attempt. All scrap plywood from my old desk and a toy chest. Lots of sanding and painting ahead of me. Planning on doing another one with proper materials after I finish this one. I appreciate my wife letting me decompress while working on this.

Redirecting my frustrations, anxiety and disappointment. Bought bar top arcade cabinet plans and hardware a few years ago. My old desk has been sitting in our attic for about a year. Feels like a good repurpose.

Sad to hear about Akira Toriyama's passing. I didn't get into Dragon Ball until a few years ago, but I grew up enjoying his work in Chrono Trigger and Dragon Quest.
