I’m not a pianist at all. When I hear these pieces by these wonderful artists, I simply write my first impression of them. I’m not here to critique them. If you know of any others to listen to, let me know.
While I am in the midst of reviving this blog, I stumbled upon a new composer and instrumentalist Bruno Bavota. This is a little shift in what I usually listen to, yet I'm intrigued by in the first piece on his album RE_CORDIS.

Time is a such a precious thing, and it seems as if it's passing by while listening to this piece. How does something we measure become the most sought after and precious ting on this planet?

Helen Jane Long albums always have that epic adventure feeling to her pieces. I know exactly when her pieces come in rotation by the first note that drops. #composer #HelenJaneLong #newage #piano

Helen Jane Long – Disconnect
Without looking, "This is Helen Jane Long, isn't it?" Then reaching across by desk, tapping the screen on my phone, my eyes narrow at the words...Helen Jane Long .
