3. Your ADULT SELF makes the final decision. You alone know what you have the energy and resources for. Start with the most manageable goal even if it’s starting a new hobby for self-care. Work your way up until you’re able to honor your WHOLE self instead of just a part of it (3/3)

2. Allow your INNER TEENAGER to help narrow down your vision. In your formative years, that’s when you’re creating the foundations of your identity. See which childhood aspirations fit the mold you want to form for the long-term. (2/3)

MESSAGE: I want you all to remember 3 things when setting your goals.

1. Let your INNER CHILD start the conversation. As we grow older we think being a little naive won’t get us anywhere, but as children that’s when we were able to hone into our creativity the best (1/3)

What I would recommend is just spend the first three months of this year doing NOTHING but research.

Find out all the doors that can be opened within your field, and if there's nothing interesting, look into other career paths.

But be realistic and for the love of God, don't use AI!

And it's not too much on ya'll either cause it took me like 3 years...

THAT SAID! I made small steps towards what I wanted every chance I could for those same 3 years. Meaning now that I'm ready to put my plan into action, I have all the tools I need. (2/3)

We're not that far into Jan anyways, so there's no rush really.

Matter a fact, for my indecisive babes, PLEASE plan for April to start putting your goals into action! (1/3)

You can't UNDERWATER your plants and expect to bare any fruit.

Go research what it's gonna take to fertilize the soil, how much water is needed, how often it needs to be watered, what's even the cost of supplies.

Without a plan, we're simply just WISHING on a shooting star (4/4)

You can start with just 30 min.

I'd say more, but I'm sure the rest of your screen time is being used up by some sort of brain rot... so I'll give you grace for now. But, we need to start somewhere

So give yourself 30 min where you do NOTHING but work on your goals (3/4)

I mean if you thought writing down what you want is enough, I fear that's just step one.

Once you have your goals, you now need to plan out how you will execute them.

Nothing needs to be done right away, but you need to gradually set the habit of spending time on them (2/4)

Tragic? Or maybe a skill issue?

Do NOT let those lessons be in vain and instead use them to propel you into the best version of yourself for this year. Think of this moment of reflection as you shedding the dead habits of the past, leaving fresh scales to protect you from any new challenges that this year might bring

There's beauty in the struggle and in the failures you may have ran into. They taught you what your capacity is. How much heartbreak you could handle, how much money you were willing to spend on other, hell how often you're willing to show up for YOURSELF vs others.

When you’re called to do something, hesitating is normal reaction. If someone called you out in real life, unless it’s someone you’re familiar with, you’re not gonna sprint towards them.

So be patient with yourself as you adjust to new endeavors. Let the call get louder as you inch closer to it
