Latest example of "You Can Just Do Stuff" governing taken to the extreme. The judge can't physically enforce his or her own ruling, the White House controls law enforcement and Congress won't impeach.
1) DHS asks a federal judge for a warrant to hoover up private data from journalists, activists, and trade unions.

2) Judge denies because it is an obvious violation of the 1st and 4th Amendments with no justification.

3) DHS issues its own "Administrative Warrant" and sucks up the data anyway.

There's a trial scheduled for tomorrow on the secretary of state's announcement that he will nevertheless block the measure from being on the ballot.

Trump’s mega master immigration court hearings are driving up in absentia deportation orders, which is bad for the people in question *and* will be used in bad faith to say that immigrants are wrongly abusing the system & skipping hearings
for around two months now, the Trump admin has been replacing more and more previously-scheduled hearings with "mega master hearings"

Immigrants and asylum seekers are being made to travel hours to El Paso from across the southwest for their check-ins with ICE. These trips often end with them being placed under surveillance with an ankle monitor. These visits are causing fear and anxiety for them and their loved ones.

My story:
