The Doctor Kerri Ann :prami_pride_bi: I managed to make a rambling Personal page in Bolt. It was harder than it should've been. No markdown, no app for remote publishing. Fighting with the floating options bar.

Now I'm obsessed. Damnit.

I also listed all of my recent projects

It's a Saturday night. I've done absolutely all day. Nothing. Oh, I did manage to create an instance of Immich.

I don't know why I'm even still alive

"President Trump used his keynote speech at the first night of the Republican midterm convention to make an unusual promise: If his party keeps control of Congress after November, he will give every American adult a $5,000 "dividend."

How is this not bribery!? A mob boss wouldn't get away with this

So far today:

1. Trump fell asleep at the 9/11 ceremony.

2. Hegseth used 9/11 to justify the war in Iran.

3. Jake Lang and literal Nazis are marching through the streets of NY.

5. The stupidest people on the planet are on social media thinking they're getting $5,000 to vote for Republicans

Mental health treatment in America often neglects patients' dignity and rights, leading to experiences of dehumanization and inadequate care. #mentalhealth #mentalillness

I’m a Horrible Person: https://cigarettesandsoda.co/2026/09/11/im-a-horrible-person.html

The remembrance of 9/11 evokes thoughts of prisoners for the speaker, influenced by binge-watching “Oz” and developing a paranoia about prison.

9/11 Remembrance: https://cigarettesandsoda.co/2026/09/11/remembrance.html

Criticism arises over politicizing 9/11 remembrances, as families honor their lost loved ones while simultaneously praising controversial political figures.

The End of Humanity in 2020: https://cigarettesandsoda.co/2026/09/11/the-end-of-humanity-in.html

The juxtaposition of Apple’s Marina Bay Sands store and the Rehoboam AI from Westworld highlights the contrast between real-world innovation and fictional dystopian technology.

Ok. We got Dave a room (barring anything else going wrong) and are now waiting 5+ minutes at McDonald's. They just took our order and there are 4 cars ahead of us and they're short staffed.

All he wants to do is take a bath. That's it. A bath. And the universe seems to be conspiring against us.

Trying to be nice, I tried to get Dave a hotel room and even fucked that up. Yes, Dave finally got in touch with me at the NAMI meeting. He wasn't in jail, like Judy said, but had his camp ripped away from him. Now he's on the streets tonight.

I'm binge watching Oz and, even though I know it's a #tvshow, I'm not absolutely terrified of #prison

What's would you sell your soul for? Your humanity? Your vote? Your fellow citizen's right to live? 40 years down the line and, god hoping you're still alive, will you say you sold all this for $5000?

Or will you be dead and just not give a shit, which would be your legacy.

Also, and now I'm going to bed, but here's my favorite photo of me. Rocking a NoFx beanie and a scraggly beard that would put a longshoreman to shame.

Took extra clonazepam tonight to head off the anxiety. Now I'm anxious about running out early. Life is completely miserable without my medication

I hate nights. The daytime isn't great either, but night has me sinking further into my depression and anxiety and not sleeping. Not because I'm not tired. I'm exhausted. But I'm scared of the thoughts that race through my head in the dark.

So I was browsing all my old apps (storage issues) and was pleased to find I still had Raindrop.io.

I explored it, tagged entries without tags, and organized my mess of bookmarks.

I'm surprised how much I like Raindrop.io! How did I sit on this for so long!?

My #adhd is happy.

My mom absolutely adores the Indiana Fever. She's alway cheering on Kelsey Mitchell, Aliyah Boston, Caitlyn Clark , and Sophie Cunningham.

She never misses a game. We had to rush home to so she could watch the game. It's adorable. I love my mom. #wnba

So, I actually got fishing rods and stopped by the sports store today for tackle. I've never been to a sports store. And Bass Pro Fishing is gigantic, I was completely overwhelmed.

I haven't fished in over a decade and am rusty. But the guy helping me steered
E towards the beginner's stuff. 🧵
