need to practically think how likely it is that any number of said devices want to saturate that link simultaneously and for network hungry devices they could always get a dedicated line i suppose

however that means all devices in that room end up sharing the same network cable back to the hub, thus meaning they're bandwidth bottlenecked

maybe that's fine tho

in short instead of routing as many network cables from the hub switch to a room as number of devices, just run one PoE line to the room that feeds into a network switch

then if the number of devices change i can just swap out the switch instead of running more wires

tho i've been debating whether daisy chaining network switches is worth the convenience benefit vs the bandwidth constraint

i _think_ it's fine but i need to think about it more
