Never really was able to get into GTA games. I’ve tried a couple times, and have continued to bounce off.

For me, it's Skyrim. Don't know why, considering it should be exactly my kind of game, but it just didn't click for me.

Sin that must be eternally punished is a culturally Christian idea that you can and should reject. If someone admits wrongdoing and changes their behavior, that's the desired outcome. You don't continue to punish because you then signal there's no point to contrition at all, you're damned either way
