I’m not defending what anyone did during the primary, and that includes Bernie’s support for Platner. I can criticize Schumer and still acknowledge that he has said he is supporting Jackson now.

I don’t think endorsing now is the same as endorsing months ago, but no one endorsed Jackson months ago because he wasn’t running then. What I was responding to was the suggestion that Schumer was currently refusing by to support Jackson.

Most proposals only call for inspecting girls genitals, which will discourage all girls, not only trans girls, from playing sports — which I rather think is part of the point.

Supreme Court reform will require getting rid of what is left of the filibuster, so I think that’s “zero” and then Supreme Court reform is one.

I missed this when it was published, 🙏 for writing and resharing. I have been so frustrated engaging with activists who talk as if Democrats are the enemy rather than Republicans, and it’s exactly that agency issue. I want Dems to fight the fascists, not each other.
