At the end of the day I'm just a dude that does art as a hobby, and somewhere along the way I lost that feeling of what makes a hobby fun

I hope I can get back to that joyful feeling of just drawing on a canvas for the hell of it, and hopefully you'll see more of me here. (8/8)

Some people might see this and go "Just post art who cares" or "it's not that big of a deal" but I'm the kind of person that always puts a lot of expectations on myself, and getting this out in the open helps me a lot.

So I've decided to clean things up and move back into my main accounts. I'm gonna try to be more active here and on my sfw account, I'm just gonna draw for fun, and I'm gonna post whatever I want whenever I want. Not that anyone needs to hear this, but I'm saying this for myself.

Close friends know that I'm still active, and I have been posting to a private alt of random doodles and photos that I take, however I found myself hiding behind this account more and more because my doodles weren't "good enough for main" or whatever excuse I had made up (5/?)

Lately I've been starting to have fun with art again, occasionally I'll do little doodles for friends and it's been nice, but there's also a lot of wips I have that never see the light of day because they're not finished or not "on par" with what I usually post. (4/?)

While I can technically balance both art and work, because I got so burnt out with art I found it hard to just pull out the tablet and draw. After work I wanted to relax, and art didn't really do that for me as it used to. Things have been getting better though (3/?)

In spring of 2025 I got a part time job which helped me take off the financial load from drawing, and in late December (a day before new years) I finally secured a full time job. Throughout 2026 I've been working full time, and while the pay isn't the best I'm doing well (2/?)
