On a recent insta post about how pricey food trucks have become, someone commented, "Waiting 20 min in a parking lot for some food like a pigeon"!!

Love this stanza from Athur Hugh Clough's "Where Lies The Land To Which The Ship Would Go" - It urges us to seek out challenges for all they refine & forge us to become, to even 'scorn to wish them past'.

I've recently been intrigued by this Robert Bringhurst poem. Not just for how it applies in all relationships, but because it doesn't reference what 'these poems' said or were about, but solely on what 'she' felt they revealed about their writer, in the telling way of a dramatic monologue.
